Energy therapies of the mind/body

Most, if not all energy therapies rely on an understanding of Chakras and Auras.

Chakras

Chakras are the seven energy centers of the body, which are spinning vortexes of activity created by the presence of consciousness within the physical body.  These currents of energy run within the body and exchange energy with the world outside the body.  Each chakra has a particular emotional and spiritual issue which affects its proper functioning.  The first chakra, associated with survival and self preservation, is at the base of the spine. The second, emotions and sexuality, covers the abdomen and genitals; the third at the solar plexus is associated with power or will, fourth, love and balance, by the heart. The fifth chakra, communication, is at the throat.  The sixth, the third eye, seeing externally and within, is between the eyes.  The seventh at the top of the head, is associated with enlightenment and awakening.  Individuals can learn to access each of these seven centers and facilitate wellness within.  As the chakras become more opened and balanced, an individual’s aura will be affected as well

Auras

Auras are the energy fields which surround the body.  Auras are capable of being photographed using Kyrillian photographic techniques.  Some people claim to be able to see the auras surrounding the body, and many claim to be able to feel them.  By noting the color and intensity of the auras, suggestions can made on ways  a person’s life could be improved, including,  at times, to visit a physician.

EMF – Electro Magnetic Field Balancing®

Every electrical current produces an electro-magnetic field. As the human body has electrical currents, it also produces an electro-magnetic field. This modality, which offers eight full sessions, clears and balances electromagnetic charges which are no longer serving a useful purpose in the human energy field. During my first experience with EMF I felt a tugging at my right shoulder, an area which had been traumatized some years earlier, and a general cleansing effect.

Following later treatments I became more aware of the energy field which surround my body.

Meditations

Meditations have a long history, going back into pre-history.  All religions have a meditation component.  While some encourage mediation on a regular basis, others appear to reserve its use to the elites.

Perhaps the simplest meditation to describe is the meditation on the breath.  Although fairly easy to describe, one can spend years in practice.  It can bring inner peace and a calmness to daily living.

Sit upright in a comfortable position.  Keep your eyes just barely open with a casual focus on a spot six to eight feet away.  Focus your attention on the air coming in and out of your nostrils.  Be aware of the slight sensations you feel as your breath enters your nose as you inhale, and as you exhale.  As thoughts grab your attention, acknowledge that you are thinking and then refocus you mind on your breath.  Even those experienced at meditation can find themselves wrapped in thought at times, so be easy on yourself as you return your focus to your breathing.  Try it for fifteen minutes at least once a week.  If it seems to work for you, try to extend the time.  Most communities have at least one meditation group.  For many, being in a group helps re-enforce a commitment to practice.  A group leader can also help you refine your technique.

Walking meditations are also very popular.  Walk slowly with your attention on lifting your foot, moving your foot, and then placing your foot.  Clear your mind of any thoughts that enter your mind by refocusing on the movements of your feet.  It is common for beginners to feel they are loosing their balance.

Laughing meditation, where you set aside two to five minutes every day for laughter is a very joyful experience.      See http://www.averagemiracles.org/ for more info

Prayer Groups

These are groups of people who pray together, either at a certain time, regardless of their physical location or at times they are together to promote the well being of an individual or groups of individuals.

 Reiki

Reiki is a healing energy modality from Japan, but with practitioners worldwide.  The life force, or chi, is channeled into a person, animal or plant.  The energy activates the body’s natural ability to heal itself, working where ever the recipient needs it most.

Sound Therapy/Tuning Forks

The morning after I experienced Sound Therapy using Tuning Forks for the first time, I woke purring like a kitten.  It may have been the best night’s sleep I ever had.  Since then I have completed training in their use.

A woman by the name of Arden Wilken started Inner Sound and the use of these tuning forks about fifteen years ago.  Arden was born with the ability to see people’s auras, and was surprised when she found out other people couldn’t.  She trained as a musician and one of her joys was watching the auras of the audience shift, move around and change colors in relationship to changes in music.  She began studying the sequence of tones which facilitated these changes, first developing music to create specific shifts and later, at the suggestion of her husband, Jack, a physicist, started using a specially designed set of thirteen tuning forks.  Each tuning fork is able to produce a single pure sound.  Twenty one motifs and seven matrixes, patterns of frequencies, have been found to assist the healing of specific emotional or physical ailments.

The medium by which sounds heal in relation to the body and systems is the principle described in physics as sympathetic resonance.   “Resonance” is the natural undampened frequency of any system.  The human body can incorporate and in fact needs to move with its natural frequency to attain and maintain a state of harmony and health.  Music creates the vibration to resonate the body.

CELLULAR MEMORY RELEASE

 (1) We are holistic beings; not a sum of the parts. The words“mind”, “body” and “spirit” are artificial labels that exist to make it easier to comprehend our multidimensional existence on earth.THE CELLULAR MEMORY IS A COMPLETE, INTELLIGENT, INTEGRATED, AND INDIVIDUAL HOLOGRAM

(2) Each point within our cellular hologram contains all the information of the whole. The
complete blueprint for your existence is contained and is infinitely accessible in each and
every cell of our body.

(3) The “body” can only be healed if “mind” and “spirit” are also treated.

It is very important to access the totality of information.

Everything that has happened to us is recorded in the cells of our body in the form of decisions and behaviors.  These conscious or unconscious patterns may prevent us from feeling healthy, free and at peace.  To access them, we utilize Specialized Kinesiology and Accurate Muscle Testing as tools for biofeedback.  The accumulation of negative emotional charge (NEC) in the mind body system that feeds these patterns is known as the pain body.  The pain body is an energy field that permeates everything and behaves almost as a separate entity with its own motivations and desires..

When feelings and sensations are fully owned and acknowledged with acceptance and awareness, the pain body gets transformed into the free flowing joy body.

The prime directive of CMR is to free up the trapped life forces within the pain body through awareness and presence.  In this way, healing and transformation takes place at all levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

The Joy body with its aliveness, ease and lightness replaces the contraction, dis-ease and separation that we may feel towards ourselves and others.
